We're heading on a two week getaway to Iceland and, armed with a suitcase full of photo and video equipment, started out exploring Reykjavik by heading to the top of Hallgrímskirkja to get a view of the city.

Patrick and I opted for an intimate self-uniting ceremony with our families in Philadelphia's Magnolia Tribute Garden. We were married by Patrick's uncle who, aside from being a wonderful speaker, is curator of the Walt Whitman House and agreed to read some Whitman for us. After a short ceremony, we all walked through Washington Square Park for a lovely dinner at Talula's Garden.
