This blog began with Christina and her Philadelphia rowhome.
She spent weekends sanding, painting, and lovingly restoring every corner of her historic house.
When Christina’s career became more demanding, she made the difficult decision to step back from the blog.
But she didn’t want the creative spirit to end; she wanted it to continue growing.
That’s where Candice, a lifelong friend who shared her love for home projects since their childhood days, stepped in, along with her husband, Owen, right by her side. And let’s not forget their dog – Murph.
Together, Candice and Owen discovered how even small changes could bring big personality into a space.
Candice’s design journey started small: a secondhand dresser and a single can of paint in a tiny apartment.
That one simple project transformed a plain corner into something deeply personal – and sparked a passion that never faded.
From there, Candice kept experimenting.
She rearranged cramped bedrooms, played with bold colors in compact kitchens, and discovered an important truth: transformation doesn’t always require a big budget. It just takes curiosity and the courage to try.
With Owen helping out on weekend projects and fixing things, the blog now grows with both creativity and simple, practical ideas.
Candice now carries forward Christina’s spirit of resourcefulness while bringing her own fresh perspective.
