The Hidden Pool: Seljavallalaug

One of the most memorable experiences I had in Iceland were swimming at Seljavallalaug. It is one of the oldest outdoor swimming pools in Iceland, and is filled with hot spring water that drips down from Eyjafjallajökull.

Into the Ice: Svínafellsjökull

After driving further east, we arrived at Skaftafell National Park to begin our climb up the Svínafellsjökull glacier, one of the outlet glaciers of Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Iceland, which covers more than 8% of the country. After strapping on crampons and grabbing ice axes, we started on our way upwards into the ice.

Smoky Quartz

Of the Earth

Angela Monaco of Concrete Polish Jewelry just dropped the lookbook for her new one-of-a-kind collection "Of the Earth"! I was so fortunate to contribute the flat styling and product photography as well as the retouching and layout design for this project. You can shop the collection and see the rest of the lookbook at Concrete Polish.

With this Ring

I've been recently working with local Philadelphia jewelry designer Angela Monaco of Concrete Polish and photographing some of her newest creations as well as some of her custom fine jewelry. While her Concrete Polish line definitely leans more fashion-forward with her crystalline-inspired shapes, her engagement jewelry is nothing short of delicate and breathtaking (via Concrete Polish).

TOMS x UO

I had a great time seeing some old friends at the TOMS event at the center city Urban Outfitters last Thursday - local artists were customizing toms classics purchased the day of the event. it was a huge hit!

joan shepp/denise fike x designphiladelphia

style leader and philadelphia native joan shepp, local designer bela shehu of NINO brand collection, and local artist denise fike teamed up for the event "dressed up", where bela styled a model in her own designs and others from joan shepp and displayed the styles in joan shepp's walnut street window while denise created figure paintings of each look. "getting dressed" was, without a doubt, the most exciting and interesting of all the events i was lucky to be involved with - there was a crowd around the storefront the entire day!
